CANCELLATION POLICy

We understand that travelling in the current global environment can be challenging so we have aimed to create flexible cancellations policies.  Unfortunately, with the international travel requirements it is highly unlikely that we will fill a vacancy with last minute notice.  As such, we strongly recommend our guests purchase the added protection of travel insurance at the time of booking – which is typically around 5-7% of the stay. See list of travel insurance providers.

CANCELLATION FAQ

What if I can’t enter the Cayman Islands due to the Cayman Islands closing the borders?

You will be refunded the full cost of your reservation minus a 5% processing fee, including all taxes.  Alternatively, we would be happy to reschedule your trip to a later date.

What if I have more guests in my party than I declared at the time of booking?

If your travel party exceeds our licensed capacity you will either have to book an additional cottage (if available) or you will not be permitted to check in and will be refunded the 13% Government Tax for your stay. We must adhere to our capacity rules otherwise we risk having our  Tourism Accommodation Licence revoked by the Cayman Islands Government.

What if my flight is delayed or cancelled the day of travel?

Please get in touch with us as soon as possible so we are aware of your delay.

If your flight is cancelled, please provide documentation as soon as possible. We will make every effort to reschedule you to new dates.  Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any refunds other than the 13% government tax and you should begin the claim process from your travel insurance if we are unable to find mutually agreeable dates.  Option to reschedule expires if not confirmed within 48 hours.
